Open to nature, the restaurant benefits from all the sweetness and harmony of these blissful surroundings blessed by Hindu deities. Under a tall teak frame supported by stone columns draped with colourful swathes of fabric, Ganesh faces Suran, the spiritual guardian of this temple dedicated to fine dining. At the heart of the restaurant, a bundle of precious cinnamon sticks and a row of giant jars remind the traveller that Westerners used to sail the seas in search of these exotic spices.
